Courses and plans
What is a live course, and how is it different?
A live course is taught by an instructor in real time, two hours every weekday for sixteen weeks, with a batch that starts and ends on fixed dates. You get a mini project every weekend, recordings of every class, a capstone and a certificate. Courses here are otherwise self-paced and read at your own speed. See the live course.
How often does something new arrive?
A new deep dive every weekday, and a course finishes every few weeks. Nothing goes out that has not been read end to end by someone who works in the field.
Do I need a maths background?
Comfort with linear algebra and Python helps. Where a derivation matters we show it in full rather than pointing at a paper and moving on.
Can I read on my phone?
Yes. The reader is built for long reading on a small screen, and the newsletter carries the full article for members.
Do I keep a course after I have bought it?
Yes. A course bought on its own is a one-time purchase and nothing renews. It stays readable, and the parts added to it later come with it at no extra cost.
Does buying one course open the others?
No. A course bought on its own opens that course. A plan opens every paid course, kit and project for the length you pick: 12, 24 or 48 months, or for life. The free concepts, the newsletter and the opening part of every course stay open to everyone either way.
What do plans include?
Every plan opens every paid course, hands-on project and interview kit for its whole length, including what we publish in that time. Pro adds the practice labs, assessments and a personalized roadmap as they launch. Mentor adds live 30-minute sessions with an expert: mock interviews, feedback, resume review and career guidance (6, 10 or 18 sessions with 12, 24 or 48 months). Compare the plans.
Do plans renew automatically?
No. A plan is one payment and never renews by itself. We email you a week before it ends, and renewing is your choice. Courses you bought on their own stay yours either way.
Can I try a course before paying?
Yes. Every course opens with a full first part that anyone can read, signed in or not. You only pay if you want the rest of that course.
Payments, help and support
How do I pay, and is it safe?
You pay on Razorpay's secure checkout, in rupees, and it shows the payment options available for your account. Your card or bank details go to Razorpay, not to us. We keep the order, the amount and a payment reference so we can send your receipt and look into anything that goes wrong.
I have a coupon code. Where do I use it?
At checkout, before you pay: type the code into the coupon box and the price updates. Each coupon has its own conditions (dates, limits and what it applies to), and a coupon or offer is not refunded separately if you later ask for your money back.
Do I get a receipt?
Yes. We email a receipt when the payment clears, and every purchase keeps a receipt link under Billing and purchases on your account, so you can open or print it again whenever you need it.
Can I get a refund if it is not for me?
Yes. Ask within 7 days of buying and you get the full amount back, no questions asked. Open Billing and purchases, choose Request a refund beside the course, and a person on the team answers within two working days. An approved refund goes back to the method you paid with, and your bank usually takes 5 to 7 working days to show it. Read the refund policy.
My payment went through but the course did not open
Please do not pay again. Open Billing and purchases and refresh after a minute or two, because confirmation from the bank can lag. If the purchase is still missing, write to us from the contact page with the time and amount, and we will look into it.
Where can I see my purchases and payments?
Open Billing and purchases on your account. Every purchase is listed there with its receipt link, and a refund request starts from the same place.
I did not get my sign-in code
Codes usually arrive within a minute. Check your spam folder, and check that the address is the one you signed up with. If Google is linked to your account, signing in with Google works too.
Can I read on more than one device?
Yes. Sign in with the same account on a laptop and a phone. Your place is kept per lesson on your account, so it follows you from one device to the next.
How do I contact support?
Write from the contact page, or reply to any email we have sent you. The Help center answers the common questions about reading, buying, refunds and your account, and is the quickest place to start.
