The situation
Every message that reaches BrightCart support is first read by a person who decides which team gets it: refund, shipping, warranty or other. Priya wants that minute back and asks whether a program could sort them.
Dev suggests a rule: if the message contains "refund", send it to refunds. The first ticket in the archive breaks it: "I was charged twice for one order." never uses the word. Machine learning goes the other way: show the program tickets that people have already sorted and let it find the patterns. This lesson is about what that means, and how it quietly goes wrong.
