The situation

BrightCart's API now runs on Cloud Run (Lesson 3) as three instances. Last Tuesday two things went wrong. Aisha Rahman asked "Where is my kettle?" about order 5730, and her answer never arrived: the instance serving her was shut down mid-reply. An hour later a new reranker went live behind a feature flag and about one chat in five failed. Nobody knew who should act, or how.

Priya wants both fixed. This lesson teaches the platform to start, stop and route around BrightCart's API safely, then prepares the team for the next bad hour.
