The situation
Week 15, Monday 8 February 2027. Gareth rehearses next week's design review with you and Helen. He will not test the drawing. He will test judgement: why Ask is not an agent, what it costs, which tradeoffs you chose, what would change your mind at scale, what you do not know, where plain code is better, and what should not be built.
The running example is Tallis Retail Group, the largest tenant: its leave question G028, "How many days of annual leave do I get?", its 30-second staff-chat webhook, its Cases requests and its UK residency.
