Lesson 4: What a ticket costs, and how to pay less

The situation

It is Wednesday 17 June 2026, week 3. Joel, who owns the model budget, sets the rule: at most one cent of model fees per ticket, on average. He asks two questions. "What does one triage cost today?" and "What will 1,800 tickets a week cost?"

This lesson builds the answer from tokens and prices on T-1001, Ana Duarte's duplicate charge of 288 USD, then on the whole dev set, and finds two ways to pay less without changing the model.
